The Link and Zelda characters from the video game series The Legend of Zelda is quite well known amongst the people. The characters are also well liked by the players. If we considered about Link and Zelda in future, Miyamoto, designer of the game series in April 2008 stated that the Zelda team is forming again to work on new games. In July, he also clarified that the Zelda team has also been working on a new Zelda game for Wii.
According to the sources, the Nintendo Executive SatoruIwata also said that the new Link and Zelda game would be coming out at some in 2010. He also further stated that the new Zelda game on the Wii will be almost matched with the Wii MotionPlus accessory for making sword play more realistic. It will also block with the shield with the help of nunchunk and combine both the remote as well as nunchunk for bow and arrow which is almost similar to archery in Wii Sports Resort. Furthermore, the game title was also announced as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
We can say that the future of Link and Zelda video games will be splendid if the above mentioned game is released. Like other games of the series: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will also be popular and well like by the gamers. Scheduled for 2011, the game will actually be released for Wii. In fact this will also use the Wii MotionPlus peripheral for fighting swords along with a revised Wii Remote pointing system which particularly be used for targeting. As far as the characters of Zelda and Link in future are concerned, the two characters that will be featured in the new game of series will be quite powerful in comparison to other games of the series.
Sources have also revealed that after the Nintendo Press conference, the listing for all 3DS games is in developing process. However, included in the list was an enhanced remake of Ocarina of Time in 3D with enhanced graphics, however, six screen shots and a video on youtube have surfaced of the game and feature better lighting, textures and models than the original.
